Robert has lived to be an actor from the moment he got his first laugh in the school play. Since then he has gone on to graduate from Vancouver's prestigious Studio 58, and launch a highly successful, award-winning theatre and film career. Stage highlights include performing in London's West End and countless plays on Vancouver stages, (faves: "The Odd Couple", "Uncle Vanya", "Jitters" and "Clybourne Park" for which he won the Jessie Award for Best Actor). Screen accomplishments include over 100 imdb credits of great performances, including "Three Pines", "You Me Her", "Alaska Daily", "Unspeakable", "The Revenant" just to name a few. Also a proud acting teacher and director at New Image College of Art in Vancouver, Robert is dedicated to helping his students succeed. His deep care and infectious passion for the craft of acting promise a positive and transformative experience in all of his classes.

Julie Lynn MortensenTEACHER: Kid & Teen classes
Julie Lynn loves sharing her passion and dedication to the craft of acting. In fact, with a BFA in Drama alongside a Bachelor of Education she was about to accept an offer to become a high school drama teacher when she landed her first role in a film - the lead role in the feature, "Drawing Home". She then committed to life as an actor forevermore. Julie has worked extensively in Vancouver's film & tv industry , on many hit TV shows including "So Help Me Todd", "Virgin River", "The Babysitter's Club" and "Van Helsing" and has appeared in many Hallmark and family-friendly movies. Alongside her film career she has taught acting for numerous arts organizations, and even ran her own children's entertainment company - Living Magic - for many years. You can guarantee that classes with Julie will not only deepen your child's love and talent for acting, but also be an incredibly fun and uplifting time.
